August 31, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Big Sky Community Park River Pavillion
When: Thursday, August 31st, 2 PM
Where: Big Sky Community Park Pavillion
What: Meet at the Big Sky Community Park Pavillion for cleanup assignments. Be prepared to walk along the riverbanks and wade in the river. Rendezvous back at the Park Pavillion for free beer and a barbecue!
In addition, the Gallatin River Task Force is looking for volunteer leaders to recruit teams to focus on high traffic river access points. Email Stephanie with interest in becoming a volunteer leader.
Why: The Gallatin is being loved to death. A recent study identified over 100 river access points in the Upper Gallatin. These sites are often littered with our garbage, which threatens both wildlife and recreational use. Join us for the Annual Upper Gallatin River Cleanup and help us to give back to the river we all love.
